Working with client partners Circa Healthcare of Exton, PA we created a marketing presentation for Vetmedin, a canine heart medication made by BoehringerIngelheim. The target audience for the presentation was Veterinarians and Vet Technicians. The goal of the video was to present Vetmedin as a recommended treatment at the first clinical signs of canine heart failure.
In the middle of one of the snowiest winter in history, we were tasked with shooting exterior scenes that called for green grass. With no time in the schedule to travel to a warmer climate, we had to work with what we had, which was two feet of snow on the ground. Our team meticulously cleared all snow from the front of our suburban house location, used heaters to melt the remaining ice and brought a lawn back to life in the dead of winter.
Needing perfectly breed conforming examples of four dog breeds (Chihuahua, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Doberman ad Great Dane) we cast our dogs at the National Dog Show.
Shot on the RED Scarlet, the spot features slow-motion shots of dogs following glowing light effects representing the medication. These sparkling lines, created with particle effects in After Effects move through each scene, eventually surrounding the dogs and their owners forming the Vetmedin logo.
