Springhouse Films had the honor of interviewing Jacob (Jake) Ruser, a WWII veteran and combat medic from Philadelphia. Deployed to Europe in 1944 with the 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Inf. Div., he faced the harsh realities of the Battle of Hurtgen Forest. The interview will be part of a documentary about the battle being produced by The World War II Foundation and narrated by John Malkovich.

We honor the sacrifices of heroes like Jake, who fought bravely in the face of unimaginable challenges. His courage and resilience inspire us all. 🙏💜 #WWIIVeteran #WW2 #HurtgenForest #Hero #Courage #HistoryMatters

Filming #informedcare and #harmreduction healthcare role plays with Camden Coalition. They’ve been doing amazing things for 20+ years, not just for the folks in need in Camden but nationally. Their model of relationship building and advocacy for those with complex health situations or less resources has become a model for many community and healthcare providers across the country.
